This information session will give you the overview of SAP Architectural model of SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 and SAP ITS Architecture, and technical roles needed in a SAP job market:
ABAP Developer: ABAP/4 is the language created by SAP AG for implementation and customization of the R/3 system
SAP BASIS: a set of middleware programs and tools from SAP to help manage SAP applications to be seamlessly interoperable and portable across operating systems and database products.
SAP BW/BI: the SAP Business Information Warehouse enables Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) to format the information of large amounts of operative and historical data. SAP BW is a completely separate software package which comes with automated extraction and loading facilities.
